Job Code HDV16   Location Roseland, NJ   Job Description Full life-cycle development of Java-based server and client software. Create system designs, implement software in Java, perform unit testing, create documents, perform configuration management and other development tasks encompassed within quality software development. Assist in software process improvement activities, mentor peers, and potentially lead small teams.   Job Requirements Five or more years strong Object-oriented development background Java preferred, but STRONG C++, Smalltalk, etc. are acceptable Solid understanding of Full-lifecycle development, including analysis, design, coding to standards, configuration management, unit testing, documentation, and peer review Familiar with at least 1 major SQL Database (Oracle, DB2/UDB, Microsoft SQL Server) Booch/UML, ERDs, or other software design techniques BS/MS in CS Pluses: Project Management Skills, SEI or other Software Process Improvement background
