Description
Teleran
is seeking experienced Senior
Sales Engineers for West, Central,
and Northeast US regions. Preferred locations include San
Francisco/Bay Area,
Chicago, and New York City Metro Area. These positions will report to the
Vice President of Sales Support.
Job
Responsibilities
You
will be responsible for providing pre-sales support for regional
sales opportunities. This includes presenting to
prospects and customers, conducting seminars, and delivering
software solutions in complex technical environments. Will work directly
with sales personnel to develop and execute account sales plans to
meet customer needs and company objectives. Other responsibilities
include:

Provide
senior level product presentations and demonstrations on
Teleran solution

Develop
comprehensive technical account plans with sales
representatives that include: qualifying accounts technically,
developing demonstration criteria, delivering proof-of-concept
/ prototypes, and planning closes

Prepare
prospect needs analysis and RFP/RFI responses
-
Follow-up
on accounts for functional/technical issues related to sales
cycle
Job
Requirements
-
5+
years in a software pre-sales role
-
Must
have experience with Business Intelligence solutions including
SQL, OLAP and database concepts
-
Ability
to plan, execute and manage proof-of-concept / prototypes to
completion
-
Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Must
be able to travel within region
